Summary: In the book the main character Benny Lopez who called himself "Boy Zorro" main goal is to find a way to help others and teach his classmates a way to stand up to bullies.  When he notices a bully at his school he knows that he needs to find a way to stop them.  Eventually the bully is punished and realizes that what he was doing was wrong.  Overall teaching the other characters that they can help each other and stand up to bullies.  

Audience:  I would say this book would be targeted at grades first through third.  In these grades they might just be introduced to the concept of bullies.  They might be facing a bully in their classroom and be living in fear because they don't know how to face it.  This book might be a good way of teaching them that they can rely on each other as well as you.

Evaluation:  I think this is a high quality bilingual book.  The pictures in the book help add to the story, and make it easy for younger readers to understand.  Especially if the younger bilingual reader doesn't know simple words the book would help them learn them via the English/Spanish wording.
 
Activity:  You could have the students write a short summary of the story in English, and then attempt to write a few sentences utilizing the book in Spanish as well.  This way they are able to reference the book in order to find key Spanish words that would help them further.

Summary: The main character Eric was created to showcase things that happened to the author when he was in 6th grade.  Throughout the book his classmates turn on him and he has to find a way to stand up to them, because he has been labeled "the grunt".  This is the student that everyone picks on throughout the year.  The book has many in depth examples of bullying that Eric goes through, and threats that these bullies make against him.  However Eric is able to overcome these bullies and in the end come out on top.
